Oh tired and weary mama, do you feel like the world is too much, like you cannot handle one more thing or you will break?
Do you feel so alone that to get out of bed is a major event?
While you are laying in that bed, gripping your stomach and tears rolling down your cheeks, open up your Bible and rest in his word.
He LOVES you! He has a plan for you that you may not see now, but he can give you the water you are thirsting for. God is faithful and just!
Go to him!
"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, "Destroy him!" Deuteronomy 33:27
He will hear your cry for help!
"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
The Lord cares about your thoughts and feelings! Feelings as out of control as they may seem were created by God.
Ephesians 3:17-21
" I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.
God is near and he is working in every facet of your life. Even when you do not see it trust that he is there working.
His timing is not our timing.
Stop quarreling and just go to him.
When the ugly comes out, we see who we are without Christ! Only he can change the Ugly! Give God the ugly and watch him transform it into beauty for his glory!
If you are in a marriage of quarreling and attacking, go to him.
James 4 says to us, "What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. you ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God..."
Stay on your knees! Pray for your spouse to know the Love Christ has lavished on us!
War for that spouse!
Selfishness cannot live where God is residing.
Pray that the spouse will stop being friends with the world, and that he will no longer think about what he desires, but about what God desires for his family.
A man that opens his Bible and spends time with God is a man after God's own heart. Let's duck and get out of the way so that God can lead the family through your husband!
Let Christ fill the deepest desire of your heart, not things, and surely not people!
Unscramble those scattered thoughts in your head by meditating on God's word!
Pray this prayer from Psalm 5:2-3, "Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly."
