Spring Blossoms!

In our home from April 23rd - May 23rd we are partying! Tough guy was born on April 23rd, Little Lady was born May 9th, and Boo Boo was born on May 23rd! I am telling you only God could have planned that!  It is a very busy, but very fun time in our house.  Every year the kiddos have a party with their friends and a family party.  We take their birthdays very serious.  It is a day when they get to feel extra special.  It is a day when we get to talk to them about when they were born and reminisce their birth story.  We love to tell them about what kind of babies they were, how they slept (or didn't), and what their temperments were like.  All three of them were very different.  We want them to know that they were created in my womb by a creator that knew them and loved them before we ever did. Psalm 139:13,
"For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well..."

  James 1:17 says, "Every good and perfect gift is from above..."

At age 10 tough guy LOVES building legos.  He makes amazing ships and buildings.  We had a building contest and I quickly realized I am not ever going to be an architect.  He also loves history.  He just memorized the Gettysburg address, and cant get enough of wars and presidents.  He loves running and playing soccer.  His temperment is soft spoken and compassionate.  He loves babies and special needs children.  He is careful most of the time and always thinking.  He asks questions that I for sure cannot answer and wonder if any pastors would even know the answer to.

At age 5 Little Lady LOVES princesses (especially Elsa)!
Her temperment is happy, smiling, talking, talking, talking,
Oh and did I mention talking? She loves to sing and dance and every song is her favorite! She loves life and believes it to be a very fun place. She has 2 brothers that protect her and adore her!

 At age 7 Boo Boo LOVES spiderman toys and any outside activity like catching bugs, snakes, fishing, or hunting. Boo Boo is not as consistent at any one temperment.  He is many different temperments wrapped up in 1 package.  He can be very serious.  When he is playing soccer or baseball he is out their to "kill" the ball and he is determined and ready to defeat.  When he is excited or wanting to show me his new talent or his new creature he is bringing into the house he is smiling from ear to ear and so very loud; loud enough that sometimes I wonder if our neighbors can hear him! When he is mad, he is mad! His cry can be heard from miles away and reasoning with this child is an impossible task, but at the same time of bringing me to my knees, he is so full of joy and spunk and orneriness that he is a really fun kid to be around.  We find ourselves laughing a lot when he is around.

With all this to say Tommy and I  LOVE the gifts God has given us. We pray for longevity for our family and look to Proverbs 9:11, "For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life!"
