Sometimes life isn't fair....
When older brother gets to have 6 friends spend the night and stay up late and younger brother and sister have to go to bed it doesn't feel fair, they cry. Mom and dad know what tomorrow brings.  We know that you have baseball practice and we are going to go see the Passion play.  We know that you need rest.  Sometimes its hard to focus on things we cant see. We want to live for the now, but Boo Boo and Little Lady need to trust us and understand that we know what's best.
How often do I not trust God with my future because I only see the here and now and I am focused on what I want right now. How often do I say, "But Lord it just isn't fair," and just like I am saying to my kiddos God says to me, "Jen you just have to trust me, I know what's best for you."
