Do you ever get so busy with day to day life and mundane activities that you forget why you are on this earth? Do you feel like a taxi driver, maid, or even a love slave, (ladies, I know you know what I am talking about.) Do you ever feel so scatter brained that you can't find the cell phone you just had in your hand or the keys you just drove with 30 minutes ago. Have you done dishes for the 3rd time today or cleaned pee off the toilet seat AGAIN! Being a mom brings on so many emotions. Every day is a different adventure. There are days when I can say, "we have no where to go, today should be great," and there are many days when I say, "Ok Lord help me get through this day!" Whatever you are scrambling to get through today just remember to do it on purpose.

Today I want to blog about being PURPOSEFUL: I believe God wants us to be on purpose with our lives. Here are some areas he has called us:
So moms as you discipline your child for the 25th time today, or pray for your unsaved brother for the 100th time and feel like its a lost cause, or lose your keys or cell phone for the 20th time that week, or run to the grocery store for the 7th time that week because you keep forgetting your list, remember that Christ is the king of peace. Through all of the mundane and utter chaos remember to love, serve, disciple, discipline, tithe, and forgive. Remember that we are all in this race for heaven together. Remember to Live your Life on Purpose for the Purpose of Glorifying the one who gave it all- Jesus Christ!

Today I want to blog about being PURPOSEFUL: I believe God wants us to be on purpose with our lives. Here are some areas he has called us:
- Love-" We love because he first loved us." 1st John 4:19 Love is a choice and sometimes a hard choice, but we are called to love no matter who it is or what the circumstances.
- Serving- "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people." Ephesians 6:7
- Disciple- "And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
- Discipline-"For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." Hebrews 12:11, also one of my fav's to tell the kids is Proverbs 13:24, "Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him." I know they do not like to hear it at the time of discipline, but it is important to God.
- Tithe-Malachi 3:10 says, "Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need." Trust God with this and see how he blesses.
- Forgiving- Matthew 18:21-22, "Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
